Our aims are to:
Support students to achieve their individual goals and realise their potential
Develop students’ understanding of themselves by providing strategies and supports to reduce anxieties and improve self-esteem
Develop students’ individual skills and knowledge to allow them to become as independent as possible
Teach specific skills to ensure students can progress to live fulfilled and purposeful lives
Support families by working together for the best interests of the students
Our intent is to:
Develop an awareness and understanding of autism for both the provision students and the wider school community
Lessen our students’ anxieties by providing high quality information to staff and students to support them to understand our students’ individual needs whilst adding structure, routine and familiarity into the school day
Encourage and care for our students to allow them to achieve their highest potential
Support the student and their family throughout their time at school and beyond
Find flexible and creative ways to support our students’ needs when they are unable to
