The BIG Quit
This month, the enthusiastic students of Year 7 have taken on a unique challenge - 'The Big Quit.' The goal? To give up something they enjoy on a daily basis for a whole seven days. While it may sound easy at first, the students are finding themselves faced with tough choices, contemplating whether to part ways with social media, no longer indulge in delicious chocolate, take a break from their favorite tunes, or even abstain from the satisfying act of cleaning and It's all in the name of fun, personal growth, and, most importantly, raising awareness of homelessness and poverty.
The primary objective of 'The Big Quit' isn't just about personal challenges but also about making a positive impact on the community. The initiative aims to generate funds for www.happydaysuk.org, an organization dedicated to providing support and essential services for those experiencing homelessness and crisis situations. The funds raised will contribute to Happy Days UK's efforts in offering safe accommodation, routine, healthy food, health clinics, and crucial advice and support.
Happy Days UK is committed to helping people who are homeless or in crisis to regain control of their lives and work towards living independent and purposeful lives. By participating in 'The Big Quit,' Year 7 students are not only challenging themselves but also making a meaningful contribution to support this noble cause.
Whether you're a student, a parent, or a community member, there are various ways to get involved and support 'The Big Quit.' Encourage the students, share their experiences, and, most importantly, consider making a donation to Happy Days UK. Your support will directly impact the lives of those in need, providing them with the essential resources and guidance to overcome the challenges they face.
‘The Big Quit' is more than just a personal challenge for Year 7 students; it's an opportunity to raise awareness about homelessness and poverty while contributing to a cause that strives to make a real difference. Join us in celebrating their efforts, spreading the word, and supporting Happy Days UK as they continue their invaluable work in helping individuals rebuild their lives. Together, we can make a lasting impact and create positive change for those who need it most.
